Hey Everyone!, i haven't updated you all for a while so i thought it would be a good time to update everyone on what I've been up to seeing that a lot has happened since the 9th of November.....

Well I've had my group interview with Waitrose which i think went well, there was only 4 other candidates in the group interview, they were all good guys and i felt at ease after the first 10mins or so.. 

They asked us a set of easy going questions about what we like to do in our spare time and what types of food we eat. The interviewee showed us around the store and told us about the type of person they are looking for to fill the position. 

The interview lasted about and hour or so and was far the best interview I've been too i just hope i get the job now... fingers crossed.

I'm finally getting to grips with the amount of assignments i have to do at university. So my doubts about the assignments building up and me having no time to actually find and do a job are slowly disappearing as long as i keep my current level of work up... so not to jinx it everythings going well. 

Update 3

OK, this week i have been rather busy with university coursework, its made me think, the further i progress with my education the less amount of time i will have for work. I have started to think like this because in recent weeks the amount of coursework i have been given has increased and I'm just about keeping on top of it now without having a job, so with having a job the workload could be too much.

This is not a problem i foresaw when i started the blog. It has really got me thinking can i do both?? If anyone has found themselves in a similar situation, i would love to hear from you.

                                   However!!!

On a brighter note, Waitrose a supermarket that is part of the John Lewis Plc has emailed me inviting me to an interview for the sales position i applied for online at their Fulham Broadway branch, When i first received the email i was over the moon with excitement, nevertheless this happiness soon turned to worry because of the the issue aforementioned.

Moreover I'm going to go into this interview open minded cause Ive heard John Lewis plc is a great company to work for and are very flexible so they could work around my university timetable.

But before i get ahead of myself i better prepare for the interview so if anyone has interview tips i would appreciate it.

Blog Update 2

Since my last post i have received an email from Debenhams saying that my application has been unsuccessful, and  they have kept my information on file in case a suitable position comes about... same old story really...
However i haven't let it dishearten me, since receiving that letter i have applied for three more jobs, one with John Lewis and the two others with smaller office companies.


Nevertheless its gotten to the point where I'm applying for every type of job, im not even sure what the job entails i just hope i get it and learn while im doing it. Many have warned me against this, but what am i suppose to do i believe i cant be picky especially at times like these...
what do you think i could do to help my chances???
